About

A methodology-first research desk covering the customer-experience economy.

What Apex CX Research is

Apex CX Research is a research desk covering the customer-experience economy — contact-center operations, conversation intelligence, quality assurance, and the AI reshaping all three. We publish benchmark frameworks, ROI models, methodology notes, and market maps for the people who have to make decisions with them: analysts, CX and operations strategists, and the executives who fund the work.

We are not a news blog. Our aim is to be the analysis a serious practitioner would actually use in a business case — method first, number second, and never a headline figure without the conditions that produced it.

How we work

Our credibility rests on a short list of rules we do not bend.

  • Method before metric. We explain how something was measured before we tell you what it measured. A number without its conditions is decoration, and we treat it that way.
  • Honest figures. When we use numbers we generate, we label them as illustrative or modeled estimates, or as reasoned ranges, and we show the assumptions. We do not attribute invented statistics to real research firms or publish fake survey results.
  • One byline, no invented experts. We publish under the Apex CX Research Team desk byline. We do not manufacture named analysts with fictional résumés or employers.
  • Vendors on merit. When we name a vendor, it is because it is relevant to the analysis — described factually, alongside its peers, with no superlatives. Our network's own product is always marked as such. Most of our research names no vendor at all.
  • Corrections in the open. When we get something wrong, we fix it visibly.

Who publishes Apex CX Research

Apex CX Research is part of the CX Network, which is powered by Hear.ai, a company that builds conversation intelligence and compliance software for contact centers. When Hear.ai appears in our coverage, it is our own network's product, and we mark it that way.

Sponsorship

Editorial research is never for sale. Where sponsorship appears, it is clearly labeled and kept structurally separate from our research — see Advertise for how we handle that line. If our work is useful to you, the best way to follow it is the research brief, and we always welcome tips and corrections via the contact page.
