Methodology & standards

How Apex CX Research grounds its analysis, treats sources, and handles corrections.

Grounding

Apex CX Research is an analysis publication, not a primary-research firm. Our briefs are grounded in the public research landscape — Forrester's Customer Experience practice, Gartner's Customer Service & Support research, IDC's Future of Customer Experience program, Metrigy's contact-center studies, and work from McKinsey, PwC and Deloitte Digital — always named and linked so readers can verify context at the source.

Two rules are absolute: we never reproduce another firm's research, and we never attach a specific figure to a source unless that figure is publicly verifiable there. Where our briefs use magnitudes without citation, they are directional and labeled as such.

Method notes

Frameworks and models published here are our own synthesis. Illustrative figures and exhibits are labeled illustrative. When a methodology has a known weakness — sampling bias, survivorship, metric gaming — we say so in the brief rather than footnoting it away.

Vendor neutrality

Vendors appear in our analysis when the market picture requires them, described factually and linked via their primary domains. Coverage is not for sale, and no vendor reviews our briefs before publication.

Production

The Apex CX Research team uses AI tooling in drafting and analysis. Every brief passes the grounding rules above before publication and is published under the desk's responsibility.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in place. Flag anything questionable via the contact page with the brief's title and the passage in question.
